   When you were a 2 year old child, I asked if you wanted to write a letter to your dad (who was away from home at that time) your answer was yes and you started to transfer your thoughts and feelings onto a piece of paper.

   One of the drawings on this letter caught my eye and I asked you what it was, you said “It is a bee, mom!”.
   I said “Sorry baby, yes, it looks just like a bee”. However, it was an imperfect circle with some lines sticking out of it.

   From that day on I was really curious to know what kind of message this bee was carrying to your Dad. Was it “I miss you dad, I love you dad, I wish you had never left me for this long”. I knew that bee carried some profound feelings to your father. Whenever I look at your bees, I think about how your little heart felt then being away from your father.

   Thanks for telling that story, Mom! It’s sweet and a little sad, and I hope that my bees still carry messages to anyone that wants to hear them.
